The Turkey Chronicles take a dramatic turn today as tensions in the coop reach a breaking point. While some turkeys panic and others strategize, a select elite has chosen a third option: escape. And not just any escape, a covert, midnight migration known in whispered tones as Operation Northern Light.
Under the cover of darkness, a squad of highly motivated turkeys slipped away from the farm and headed straight for the safest place a bird can be in November: Canada, the promised land where Thanksgiving came and went weeks ago.
Their mission was bold.
Their timing was flawless.
Their survival instincts?
Exceptional.
The border crossing?
Shockingly efficient.
Security asked for ID. The turkeys presented their résumés:
- Polite gobbling
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions
- Bilingual in English and mild French
Border officer reportedly nodded and said:
“Bienvenue, buddy.”
The squad is now living their absolute best life, feasting on pancakes drowned in maple syrup, wearing plaid with pride,
and blending seamlessly into Tim Hortons’ culture.
