French Edition of “This Is Your Quest” Climbing the Amazon Charts

“If it’s worth celebrating, it’s worth celebrating in hotpants.”

The French edition of This Is Your Quest has officially launched—and within just 48 hours, it was storming up the Amazon charts. Merci to all the readers, new and returning, who’ve picked up a copy, visited the website, and joined the Quest.

Naturally, I had two options:

  1. Write a polite “merci beaucoup” and get back to work.
  2. Strike a pose with the tricolore, throw on something cheeky, and celebrate like a woman who knows her worth.

I chose option two. Because let’s be honest: if it’s worth celebrating, it’s worth celebrating in hotpants.

✨ Celebration Is Not a Crime. It’s an Art Form.

So many of us are trained to downplay our wins.
We’re told to “be humble,” “don’t brag,” “just keep working.”

But celebrating doesn’t mean showing off. It means showing up.
It means marking the moment—with joy, with flair, with unapologetic energy.

For me, that meant staging a mini shoot draped in the French flag, blending sensuality with symbolism, and owning the space between serious and playful.
Because publishing in another language isn’t just a business decision—it’s a heart move. And yes, it deserves a little sizzle.

🌍 From Island Girl to Global Voice (Now Available en Français)

When I first wrote This Is Your Quest, it was a personal challenge—to distill what I knew, what I’d lived, and what I believed into something that could spark curiosity and change in others.

The English edition found readers from all over the world. But translating it into French? That hit differently. French is part of my story, my soul, my sass. So when the book became available to francophone readers—especially French women—it felt like the message had finally come home.

And now, seeing the French edition gain traction so quickly? That’s legacy in motion.

It’s not just about selling books. It’s about building bridges between languages, cultures, and lives.

🧠 Philosophy, Flag, and Femme Energy

Some people might ask why a personal development book author is posing in short shorts with a flag.
To which I say: why not?

I can quote Marcus Aurelius and wear heels.
I can speak about purpose and still love lipstick.
You don’t have to choose between being wise and being wild. You can be both.

The French understand this. They celebrate contradiction. They embody nuance. They know that looking good and thinking deeply are not mutually exclusive.
So I honoured that spirit—in style.

💬 Merci Beaucoup – and Keep Climbing

To everyone who bought the French edition, thank you.
To everyone still on the fence: the book is waiting, and so is your next big breakthrough.

If you’ve ever struggled to believe that your story is worth telling—tell it anyway.
If you’re unsure whether your voice matters—use it anyway.
And when the wins come, however big or small—celebrate them out loud.

Preferably with a flag.
And maybe in hotpants.

    1. Thanks Paul for your message . I enjoy your blog very much. I wrote in my book “This Is Your Quest” (check it out!) a chapter about the unconditional love you get from a dog and the benefit of living with a pet. I also told the story of Hachi from Tokyo Japan made into a Hollywood movie with Richard Gere as the lead actor. So much you can learn from dogs!
